  1. Why should I use elephantMade?

Answer: Very simply, because there is no other company that does what we do. elephantMade delivers effortless fundraising, brand building, and a method to expand your donor networks in a way that is fast, easy, and free.

  1. How much money will my campaign/committee receive?

Answer: Half the net proceeds from every transaction made through your store will be delivered to your campaign / committee in the form of a monetary contribution. The more sales made through your store, and the higher priced items you sell, the more money you make.

  1. What will my custom campaign store look like?

Answer: Your custom campaign store will look something like this, depending on which products you elect to sell in your store.

Once a customer selects a product though your store, they’ll be able to select quantity, color, and size using drop down menus.

  1. How will I be able to select which items I sell in my store?

Answer: Once you enter your campaign specific information, upload a high-resolution PNG image, and establish your payment account with Stripe, you will be offered a menu of high-quality, American-Made products to choose from. Your logo may not render the correctly on every product so you’ll have to choose which ones you want to sell by clicking the “Add product to store” box at the bottom of the selection screen.

Through the selection process, you’ll see the name of each product and what the price of each product will be. You will also be offered some elephantMade generated products during this process. Your campaign will receive the same contribution selling an elephantMade product as you will selling your own product.

  1. What about disclosure and compliance required under federal and state election laws?

Answer: elephantMade makes compliance simple. During checkout, we require every purchaser to provide a positive affirmation of US citizenship along with employer and occupation information, name, and address. We put all of this information for each customer purchasing from your store into a user-friendly spreadsheet. Then, we email you your spreadsheet each month (or, you can log on to elephantMade.com to obtain the most recent donor information whenever you need it). It really is that easy!

  1. Do I have to be a Republican to use this website?

Answer: No. elephantMade is not affiliated with the Republican Party at any level. However, we support Republican candidates and committees. We also support conservatives, constitutionalists, affiliated organizations, Tea Party groups, and almost any person or organization on the right side of history.

  1. What do I need to sign up?

Answer: First, answer a few questions about your campaign or committee. Then, you’ll need the following 6 items in order to take advantage of elephantMade’s free service:

  • Mailing address
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Point of contact with decision-making authority (i.e. campaign manager, committee chair, etc…).
  • Routing and account number where all donations will be deposited
  • A High-Resolution Portable Network Graphic (PNG) logo
  1. Why is uploading a high-resolution Portable Network Graphic (PNG) logo so important?

Answer: This logo will be featured on all of your custom merchandise and apparel. We ask for high-resolution files because the higher the resolution, the sharper, more detailed, and better quality the print. We recommend uploading a logo that is at least 150dpi and actual size. PNG formatting allows for a transparent background, meaning that your finished product won’t have a box around your logo, giving it a professional and polished appearance to reflect the importance of your campaign or cause.

  1. Do I have to have a website in order to sign up with elephantMade?

Answer: No. You can also use the link to your elephantMade online store on almost any social media platform, on another website (with consent of the owner), or in direct communication (text, electronic newsletter, etc…).

  1. What is elephantMade’s print file content policy?

Answer: elephantMade is proud to support and empower any candidate, political group, or committee with the drive to launch an online eCommerce site, wherever they’re located. We want to help you win. With that in mind, submitted content must be respectful of others and of the law. Think before you hit the launch button on your store. Content that is hateful or illegal, or anything that violates intellectual property rights may be reviewed and removed at any time. Note that, by using elephantMade, you agree to follow our Terms of Service. By uploading your logo(s), you understand that you’re solely responsible for the content of your logo and the content of your online store, and that any content uploaded is your property, with full rights to print, use, sell, and distribute the content (including logo).

  1. What is the residue/discoloration on my garment?

Answer: You may notice some discoloration or off white residue on your apparel. Do not worry! This is a special solution used for printing and can sometimes leave marks during the drying process. These are not stains and will wash off after the first wash cycle. Our apparel is created with the latest in garment printing technology. In addition, our inks are water based and eco-friendly. This makes the feel much softer than traditional screen printed shirts, but just as durable!

  1. How long do customers have to submit a claim for a return or exchange of a misprinted, damaged, or defective item?

Answer: Any claims for misprinted, damaged, and/or defective items must be submitted within 30 calendar days from the day the product is received. For packages lost in transit, all claims must be submitted no more than 30 calendar days after the estimated delivery date.

  1. May I return a product if I made a mistake in ordering or if I change my mind?

Answer: Any returns or problems that occur because of a processing or quality error on our part will be handled at elephantMade’s expense. Customers seeking to exchange or return a product without any defect or due to a mistake in ordering (wrong size, color, style, etc.) will be handled at the customer’s expense by placing a new order. If a non-defective item is returned to our facility, someone from our team will contact the customer regarding the return. We will ship the returned item back at the customer’s cost, but will not issue any type of refund or exchange. Unclaimed returns get donated to charity 30 days after the date of receipt.

  1. If a customer returns a product, where will it be sent?
